Sanriotown's Dream Studio has been designed with both the novice and the seasoned user in mind. The user-centric interface is context-sensitive meaning that you will find your way around the application quite easily. In a matter of minutes, you can build eye-catching slide that are sure to impress your friends. Dream Studio is pre-loaded with a wide variety of special effects, and further experimentation will lead to mastery of the program. Only constant practice will make you a "power user". We give you the tools; you supply the imagination.
Pay attention to the image below and you will notice that the interface is actually divided into two parts. The bounded red area is the Slide Control Box while the yellow bounded area is our Workspace.

Creating a Slide
Let's Create a Simple Slide
For this example, we are going to create a slide, add introduce some simple effects.
Example:

Uploading a Photograph.
Let's add a photo now by clicking on the "Add" button. Select the image you want uploaded into the slide.

If you made a mistake don't worry, you can always delete the photo you don't need. Just select the photo you want to remove and click the "Delete" button. You will be prompted to confirm this command.

Editing a Photograph.
Aha! It appears that our image is bigger than the actual workspace. No worries. You can easily adjust the scale, rotate or flip the photo just like in any other commercial paint program.

Dragging on the
at the right corner of the bounding box allows you to rotate the photo.
To resize the photo, drag the
bounding box.
For now, we'd like to adjust the image with the correct aspect ratio. Let's grab the upper left resize node and drag it towards the center so it fits, like so.

To further edit the photo you have added, first highlight them by clicking on them. An
button will appear at the top left corner of the photo, with a bounding box around the photo as well. Clicking on the
button will give you access to either cut, copy, paste, or delete the photo. You may also select the layer to display your photo, by either bring it to the front, or sending it to the back.

Alternately, you can also use the Photo Control Box on the left to make precise adjustments. Additionally, you can also flip, undo, redo the image.

Let's play with some Graphics now
Let's add some graphic elements now. Click on the Graphics that precedes to collapse the menu.
You can add frame, border and icons to the slide. Press menu on the right hand side and drag and drop the graphic items you desire. You can also click on the
button to edit your graphic's position. The maximun number of graphic items per slide is 10.

Text Input and Effects
Make your audience actually read and understand what you have to say.
Five different fonts are available and can be formatted for bold, italics, and color. Left, right and center justification is possible in the text box.

Save your Slide
Don't forget to save your Slide! Upon saving, your works can be posted immediately on the gallery (if you choose to). Provide a title and add some descriptive text and your Slide is ready for viewing.

Users will be prompted to type in the title, a brief description and a tag (viewer can search your slide easily) of the Slide. You can choose to have your Slideshow posted on the gallery for joining the "Hello Apples Photo Competition 2007". Don't forget to select either "Youthfulness Group", "Wisdom/Creativity Group" or "Compassion/Caring Group" when you submit your slide.
